Welcome Letter from the Commissioner – 2026–27 NFL Family Picks Season
Friends, family, and fellow gridiron strategists,
As Commissioner, it’s my honor to welcome everyone to the 2026–27 NFL Family Picks season. Before we kick off another year of friendly rivalry, bragging rights, and questionable football clairvoyance, we must first congratulate last season’s champion. Kari claimed the 2025–26 title with an impressive 129 points, proving once again that consistency — and maybe a little luck — can carry the day. Well done, Kari. The rest of us will be aiming to dethrone you.
This season’s rules remain straightforward:
Weekly pick windows run from Thursday through Monday.
Each week’s page opens on the Monday before games begin.
Thursday games may be selected in the spreadsheet when submitting your full slate as long as they’re in before Thursday kickoff. If you’re not ready to submit everything, you may privately text your Thursday pick.
All picks must be submitted before kickoff of the first Sunday game. Late submissions risk forfeiting points for the week.
As always, the Commissioner reserves the right to accept late picks if accompanied by a truly compelling excuse… or an equally compelling bribe.
Weekly winners will be proudly displayed on the front page of the site, and at the end of the regular season, the participant with the highest total points will be crowned the Gridiron Champion and awarded the trophy that symbolizes both glory and family‑wide bragging rights.
Good luck to everyone. May your picks be sharp, your instincts steady, and your season competitive from start to finish. We look forward to another close, exciting year of NFL Family Picks.
